Rifle Range

Welcome to the Rifle Range!

We offer Range Orientation Sessions at the Club House which must be attended before you can use the range.  Please check our calendar for dates to sign up.

Location: To the right of the clubhouse entrance.  NOTE: There is a separate combination for this gate, which you will receive following orientation. 

Requirements:  You are required to have a current Massachusetts FID or LTC to shoot here, or be under the direct supervision of a person who has such a license and has attended orientation.

Hours:  9am to dusk, 7 days a week, unless the calendar on this website states it is closed for an event.

Cost:  Member -$3, $6/guest.  Fees go into steel box on the back wall of the enclosed shooting benches.  Sign in on the Range Log Book found in this area.

The Range: Covered 50, 100 & 200 yard benches.  Enclosed 100 & 200 yard benches with wood stove.  Coming soon -Spring 2012:  LSA’s new 25 meter range!

Targets:  We ask that you supply your own, paper only.

Firearms Allowed:  Rifles up to 50BMG, which are only permitted after approval by the Board of Directors and qualifying with Mark Barrette (range safety officer).  Only bullseye and hunting pistols allowed, as well as .460/500 S&W revolvers.  No tactical or self-defense pistols permitted.  Shotguns welcome – slugs only.  No buckshot or birdshot.

Leagues:  We are currently open & ready for benchrest, service rifle or rimfire leagues & matches.  Contact Rifle Range Director for more information.
