Youth Programs at LSA
LSA has several opportunities for youth athletes to become involved in the shooting sports. These include shotgun, bullseye shooting, archery, air pistol, and hunting. We use supportive, trained coaches to teach life long skills, such as goal setting, leadership, teamwork, self confidence, & safety. In our programs, our athletes create their own goals. They can come and have fun, up to and including going for a spot at the Olympics. Any goal is possible, if the athlete wants it. Many state and National organizations along with colleges have shooting sports scholarships, and many that don’t have scholarships still do have shooting teams, such as shotgun, pistol, air pistol and air rifle. The great benefit about these programs is the lifelong involvement. Just about everywhere they go in the country, there are shooting ranges and people of like mind that enjoy & support the shooting sports.
If you see any of our volunteers or coaches, please thank them for supporting our future. They spend countless hours supporting the programs and the athletes. You can help support, too. We need volunteers to help with paperwork, (CORI checks will be done) and we need your donations and support at the upcoming Fantastic 1st Annual Youth Sportsmen’s Dinner at Mazzeo’s Ristorante on Sunday, April 12th at 4pm. Come and meet our athletes and coaches, have a great dinner, and win some raffles for a good cause – the Future!
