The weekly open times are: Wednesday 11am until 2pm

                                              Friday 5:30pm until dusk

                                              Saturday 11am until 2pm

                                              Sunday 9am until noon

The LSA Rifle and Outdoor Pistol Ranges will be open for members on specified dates and times ONLY! Please watch this site for further details.

The Outdoor Pistol Range will be open on Wednesdays from 5:30pm until dusk weekly.

The LSA Rifle Range will be open on Wednesdays from 4pm until 7pm and Sundays from 9:30am until 12:30pm weekly unless otherwise posted.

The events of the past several months have led up to the necessity of having Range Safety Officers man both the outdoor rifle and pistol ranges. As Rifle Range Chairman, I am posting this message as an appeal to the membership interested in shooting on the rifle range, to step up and become Range Safety Officers. Two things this will accomplish: More regular hours of operation and enhanced safety procedures on the rifle range. I am trying to assemble a list of interested candidates to take the NRA Range Safety Officer training, but for the time being, interested shooters who want to oversee scheduled rifle range openings should attend this Wednesdays monthly meeting at 7pm. I will also be opening the range at 3:30pm on Wednesday prior to the meeting and will be posting sign-up sheets for the RSO training at all ranges. 

I will also be organizing a weeknight work party for the rifle range at the meeting Wednesday to take place the week of June 7th. We need to face the target stands with railroad ties and finish bolstering the 100 and 50-yard berms. Anyone interested in seeing the rifle range open on a more frequent basis and would like to help steer the range into the future are encouraged to attend Wednesdays meeting. The LSA Rifle Range will be open every other Monday afternoon from 1 until 5pm starting June 7th. The LSA Outdoor Pistol Range will also be open every other Monday from1 to 5pm starting June 14th. The LSA Outdoor Pistol Range will also be open on Tuesday, June 8 from 1 to 4pm.

Sign-ups start at 8am, shooting starts at 9am. There will be doughnuts & coffee to start and hamburgers, hotdogs, soda etc. The cost will be $10.00 for two rounds of 25 birds. Trap and Five Stand fields will also be open.
